Jennifer Roberts has been married for eleven years and is the mother to three young children.  She is passionate about her family, her church and her community. She currently stays at home to raise her two rambunctious boys and one little lady.  Her middle son is a cancer survivor and his journey to healing changed her life for the better. Locally, she’s enjoyed the privilege of facilitating a women’s Bible study group, teaching children’s Sunday school and serving on her church’s council.  She’s also a committed member of her community’s park board where she enjoys serving the residents of her small town and helping keep the unique park as beautiful as it can be. Jennifer loves running through the trails of her small town, playing at the park with her kids, cooking, camping and completing projects around her historical home with her husband. kristi eytchison - cofounder

Kristi Eytchison lives in Pendleton with her husband and two sons.  Both she and her husband grew up in the small community and love sharing traditions with their boys. Kristi is an established hair stylist at a local salon, Serendipity.  She enjoys being outdoors, baking with her sons, and crafting when she gets the time. Like everyone, family is very important to her; raising two boys there is never a dull moment and she wouldn’t have it any other way. Kristi’s oldest son was diagnosed with brain cancer in the fall of 2012 and in February of 2014 he was in remission. Those 15 months were a whirlwind and she couldn’t have done it without her family and friends. The support her family received and love that her son was shown; her gratitude and faith continued to grow as well as her passion to give back. Kristi’s goal with INCourage is to raise awareness and bring the community together to support local families impacted by childhood cancer.

kari nodine

Kari Nodine is a childhood cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with a Wilm’s tumor (kidney cancer) at 4 months old. She had her kidney removed and underwent chemotherapy and radiation at Riley Children’s Hospital.  She has been cancer-free for 40+ years. She is an ER nurse. Kari is married and she and her husband have one amazing son. The chemotherapy and radiation she went through for the tumor caused her good kidney to fail when she was in her 30’s.  Kari was on dialysis for 5 months. In 2011, Kari and her husband found out he was a perfect donor match and she underwent a kidney transplant! She feels so blessed and wants to give back and be a blessing to others.
